Dear
Market Participants,
SEMO
have identified that two manifest errors have recently occurred.
Details of the manifest errors is as
follows:
1.
Incorrect application of LOCL/CRLO
Instruction.
The
LOCL instruction is intermittently not being applied after a CRLO has been
issued. The result is that the QBOA is not calculated for the impacted units,
resulting in impact to Imbalance Price. This issue is logged as ID 6021 in the
Known Issues Report. There were multiple occurrences of this issue throughout
Saturday the 21st of September.
2.
Units not being flagged on upward slope of reserve curve,
despite reserve constraint binding
A
small subset of units have a unique reserve curve whereby they have both a
positive slope at the beginning of the curve and a negative slope at the end of
the curve. If reserve is binding all units with a non-zero slope should be
flagged. The positive slope is not being flagged correctly. If the unit is on a
positive slope and the constraint is binding the unit will not be flagged and
may contribute to the price as a result. Note, this defect is only present on
four units. The impacted periods are as follows:
