Update 11/11/19: 09:00 (BST)
During the morning of 07/11/2019, SEMOpx experienced
serious issues in the Intraday market. We sincerely apologise for the
inconvenience this may have caused.
The M7 system, used for continuous trading across all
markets, encountered an IT issue around 01:00 BST on 07/11/2019. The technical
issue occurred on an internal data management module, which in turn impacted
the responsiveness of the M7 system. The SEMOpx Intraday continuous market was
not accessible to members from 01:02 BST onwards.
The issue was immediately investigated by our service
provider. Fixing measures were tested and implemented into production and
markets were made available again from 09:15 BST on 07/11/2019.
The M7 system is now stable, and the SEMOpx market is
fully accessible.
We are aware that any type of market disruption is a
major disturbance for our members. This is why we strive to maintain the
highest level of availability of our trading systems, which is our highest
priority.
With the matter resolved, we will now ensure that an
in-depth analysis is conducted with our service provider to prevent such an
issue from happening again.
Please do
not hesitate to contact us should you require any further information.
