Dear Market Participants,

Please be aware that in accordance with the Market Operator obligation under the T&SC Section F.16.2 'Calculation of Strike Price',

SEMO has calculated the Strike Price (PSTRm) for October 2021 as €739.553153.  This increase was driven by a higher Gas futures input price this month.

This change will be effective from the 1st October with respect to Initial Settlement and for future Indicative settlement publications.

Please note that this process is completed at the beginning of each month since I-SEM go-live.  This is the first PSTR increase calculated to date. 

This price may change again at the beginning of November if Gas future prices remain elevated.

Please be aware that in accordance with the Market Operator obligation under the T&SC Section F.16.2 'Calculation of Strike Price', 

SEMO has published here what are the input sources for the relevant equations as approved by the RAs in the CRM parameters paper. 

SEMO will calculate the Strike Price (PSTRm) for October 2021 on this basis.  The Strike Price will increase due to changes in the Gas Futures input price this month.

This change will be effective from the 1st October with respect to Initial Settlement and for future Indicative settlement publications.
