Dear Capacity Market Participants,

We are writing to provide an update on the 2024/2025 T-3 Final Qualification Decisions and the publication of the Final Auction Information Pack (FAIP2425T-3) and the 2025/2026 T-4 Provisional SO Qualification Decisions.

2024/2025 T-3 Capacity Auction

The issuance of the 2024/2025 T-3 Final Qualification Decisions and the publication of FAIP2425T-3 will not take place until Wednesday, 22nd December 2021. This is due to a delay on the part of the System Operators in the submission of these documents to the Regulatory Authorities and further time is needed for the approval process. We will notify you once the Final Qualification Decisions are available on the Capacity Market Platform and when the Final Qualification Results report and the Final Auction Information Pack are published on the SEMO website.

2025/2026 T-4 Capacity Auction

In our communication on the 9th of December 2021 we notified you that there will be a delay to the publication of the 2025/2026 T-4 Provisional SO Qualification Decisions. We are currently finalising these results; however, further time is necessary to complete the process and the Provisional SO Qualification Decisions will not be available until 22nd of December 2021. A communication will be sent to Participants on this date confirming the publication of these Provisional SO Qualification Decisions on the Capacity Market Platform.

In accordance with section E.9.3 of the Capacity Market Code, please refer to the below revised dates for Applications for Review. On the basis of the further time required as set out above and considering the holiday season, Applications for Review will be accepted until Wednesday 5th January 2022 with the notification of outcomes being issued by the System Operators on the 12th January 2022 as per the current Capacity Auction Timetable (CAT2526T-4). The System Operators consider that this review timetable is sufficient considering the level of further information already received as part of the current stage of the process and we wish to confirm that the remaining dates remain unchanged including the dates for the Capacity Auction.

The process will continue thereafter in line with the dates set out in the Capacity Auction Timetable, CAT2526T-4.
