Dear Capacity Market Participants,

Provisional SO Qualification Decisions for 2025/2026 T-4 Capacity Auction will not be issued until Thursday 16th December 2021.

In light of the nature and complexity of the Applications for Qualification in respect of 2025/2026 T-4 Capacity Auction, the System Operators require further time to complete the Provisional SO Qualification Decisions.  In an effort to continuously improve the qualification process, the System Operators have sought to request further information earlier (where required). We consider that the more time afforded to the consideration of this information at this stage, rather than in the review process, will result in better quality decisions. As a result, the issuance of the Provisional SO Qualification Decisions will not take place until Thursday 16th December 2021. Participants will be advised once the Provisional SO Qualification Decisions are available to be viewed on the Capacity Market Platform.

In accordance with section E.9.3 of the Capacity Market Code, please refer to the below revised dates for Applications for Review. On the basis of the further time required as set out above and considering the holiday season, Applications for Review will be accepted until Wednesday 5th January 2022 with the notification of outcomes being issued by the System Operators on the 12th January 2022 as per the current Capacity Auction Timetable (CAT2526T-4). The System Operators consider that this review timetable is sufficient considering the level of further information already received as part of the current stage of the process and we wish to confirm that the remaining dates remain unchanged including the dates for the Capacity Auction.

The process will continue thereafter in line with the dates set out in the Capacity Auction Timetable, CAT2526T-4.
