Further to the Information Note regarding CRM auctions in 2024, the SEM Committee has decided to hold the 2028/2029 T-4 Capacity Auction targeted for 12^th December 2024, with incentives for early delivery of new capacity in the Capacity Year 2027/2028, in place of the 2027/2028 T-3 Capacity Auction.

To this end, the Regulatory Authorities have instructed the System Operators in accordance with D.2.1.12(b) of the Capacity Market Code to cancel the 2027/2028 T-3 Capacity Auction. In accordance with D.2.1.16, the System Operators have revoked the 2027/2028 T-3 Capacity Auction Timetable.

A timetable for the 2028/2029 T-4 Capacity Auction will be published in due course.
