Dear Market Participants

Following on from tonight’s outage an issue has occurred preventing the imbalance price from completing within the allocated time. This issue is currently being investigated and an update will be provided as soon as possible.

The System Market Backup Price has been available since 23:30 and will be used as the Imbalance settlement price.

 Apologies for any inconvenience this issue has caused.

Dear Market Participant,

This is a gentle reminder that tonight’s outage (Tuesday 3rd December 2019) scheduled for 19:00 – 01:00  is set to proceed as planned.  The purpose of this outage is to facilitate the deployment of upgrades to the Market Systems.  

Please note that the BMI will not be available during this time. The LTS run will be published prior to the commencement of the outage, and these results will be available on the public website which will be accessible throughout the duration of the outage.

 A notification will be sent once the outage begins, and again upon completion of the outage.

The planned outage to the Balancing Market today, Tuesday 3rd December between 7pm and 1am, is going ahead as previously communicated.  

During this maintenance, Imbalance Pricing will be unavailable. The Market Back Up Price will be used during the outage period.
