Dear Market Participant,

SEMO would like to update you on the investigation into the Balancing Market Interface (BMI) issues encountered on 05/03/2019 and 14/03/2019.

The BMI had been impacted by extremely high volumes of requests through API connections. Over 300,000 in 10 hours from one participant. We have addressed this issue with the participant and would ask that you review your own connections and interfaces to ensure that your systems are not contributing to the issue.

SEMO is also reviewing connections for all participants to assess any further action.
