Dear Market Participant,

The Association of Issuing Bodies (AIB) that administers the standards for Guarantees of Origin (GO) issuing between EU jurisdictions have identified a compliance issue with Icelandic GOs. The AIB Board has decided to suspend all exports of Icelandic GOs from the Icelandic registry through the AIB GOs system. This means that SEMO will not accept Icelandic GOs until the suspension has been lifted.
