Dear Market Participant,

EirGrid and SONI Transmission System Operators (TSOs) would like to inform stakeholders that a Forum is proposed for the 29th April, commencing at 1pm and finishing at approximately 4:15pm. The Forum will be held in collaboration with the Utility Regulator for Northern Ireland, CRU, NIE Networks and ESB Networks and will cover;

·        Update on EU/UK TCA developments – specifically the Loose Volume Coupling arrangements and the Cost benefit analysis that has recently concluded (publication available from ENTSO-E website on 26th April 2021).

·        Progress updates on the implementation of European Network Code and Clean Energy Package requirements

·        An overview of recent developments in the implementation of Emergency Restoration (SGU letters) and Electricity Balancing requirements 

·        Opportunities for industry to ask questions and engage with the Regulators, DSOs and TSOs.

The Forum will be held via webinar/dial in and slides will be added to the TSOs’ websites following the event. Please register your interest in attending the Forum, by 12pm Wednesday 28th April as webinar and dial in details will only be issued to those that have registered.
