Dear Market Participant, 

SEMO have been advised, by the SEM Bank, that there is currently a Europe wide issue affecting Same Day Domestic Payments.

As a result, while the SEMO market participant payments have been sent to the bank this morning in line with our normal processes, the Irish Central Bank is unable to settle them at present. The latest update we have received from the SEM Bank is that the Irish Central Bank hope the system will be back up running within the next two hours.

As a result, the cut off time will be extended for two hours this evening to allow the back log of payments to be cleared, but there will be delays in payments reaching beneficiary accounts. 

SEMO will advise market participants of any further updates received. We apologise for any inconvenience caused with this unforeseen issue.
