EPEX have analysed ETS API applications behaviours in production, and have detailed best practice technical guidelines for login/logout Market Results retrieval policies in a datanews alert.

Action required by SEMOpx Members:

API Applications should log in only once a day; Logout is not mandatory
We encourage you to implement as soon as possible this recommended login policy in order to optimize your application performance
API Applications should not retrieve market results more frequently that every 30 seconds (no less than 30s between two retrievals)
Both recommendations will become mandatory as of ETS version 3.3.1 which is planned for simulation for April 2019
