The SEMOpx July 2022 monthly report can be found here. 

The key market statistics are: 

  • Traded  volume (GWh) is down 4% in July 2022 compared to July 2021 and there is no change since June 2022.
  • The traded value (€) of July 2022 is up 77% compared to July 2021 and registered a 46%  increase since last month.
  • DAM average price is 86% higher in July 2022 in comparison to July 2021 and has grown 47% since June 2022.
  • Continued gas price volatility and lowest wind generation so far of 2022 have seen electricity prices soar in July 2022 and reach much higher figures than the ones registered at the beginning of the summer season.
