Dear Capacity Market Participants,
We are writing to provide an update on the 2023/2024 T-4 Capacity Auction Provisional Results publication date and proposed updates to the forthcoming dates in the T-4 2023/24 Capacity Auction Timetable.
As you are aware, the Provisional Qualification Results (PQRs) date has been regrettably delayed from the Capacity Auction Timetable date of 19th December 2019.
Due to the large volume of applications, a number of complicated considerations in the qualification assessment process and the concurrent running of the T-1 2020/21 & T-2 2021/22 Capacity Auctions, it was not possible to deliver the PQRs by the date specified in the Capacity Auction Timetable to the standard expected.
However, the System Operators can now confirm that the PQRs will be available on 27th Jan 2020.
A communication will be sent to Participants on this date confirming the publication of these PQRs in CMP.
Due to this delay, it has been necessary to amend certain consequential dates within the Capacity Auction Timetable.
The table below contains the current Capacity Auction Timetable date and proposed revised dates listed against each milestone.
Please note that while an application has been submitted by the System Operators to the Regulatory Authorities for the proposed revisions below, the proposed revisions to the Capacity Auction Timetable have not yet received regulatory approval.
Please note also that a Capacity Market Code modification proposal has been submitted by the System Operators to allow the T-4 2023/24 Capacity Auction to take place on the date specified below.
