Update on implementation of Trade Recall Fee and REMIT Reporting Fees

Dear Members, 

As communicated in a market message on the 10th February 2021, SEMOpx are implementing a Trade Recall Fee and a pass-through of ACER REMIT reporting fees.

Further details on the technical implementation of these fees is provided below:

Trade Recall Fee:

From the 15th March trade recalls will incur the charges outlined in the SEMOpx Statement of Charges. 

These fees, where relevant, will appear on the SEMOpx Invoices issued by ECC from 1st April 2021.

The ECC Trade_Report_Detail (TRD) report will not change as the fee is a manual fee, not a volume based fee.

The ECC Payment_Report_Summary (PRS) and ECC Payment_Report_Detail (PRD) files will look the same as they do now, the only difference will be the inclusion of the additional ECC product ID where relevant in the PRD.

ACER REMIT Reporting Fee:

Due to system updates required, the 2021 REMIT Reporting Fee will not be invoiced until June 2021 at the earliest.

The ACER REMIT reporting fee will be invoiced on a separate SEMOpx REMIT reporting invoice issued by ECC. The separate invoice is required to accommodate the VAT exempt nature of the charges.

This will mean that separate ECC Payment_Report_Summary (PRS) and ECC Payment_Report_Detail (PRD) files will created for the ACER Remit invoices. However they will have the same format as the existing SEMOpx invoice reports, the only differences will be that the ACER REMIT reporting fee will be the only product ID, that VAT will be zero, and the report name will include REMIT_EGRD or REMIT_SONI).

Both the trade recall and the REMIT reporting fee product groups have been included in the latest version of the ECC SMSS_XML_REPORT SPECIFICATION  (Appendix Section 4.1)
